The Question

Bism Illah wa as salaamu alaykum.

If one were simply to consider each and every action and purchase with this question in mind, things might be quite different.

"Will this help me get to Jennah?"

How's that for putting things into perspective and focusing on what is truly important?

  2. Sis, one simple question and simple to ask oneself yet it seems impossible to implement due to our whims and desires.

  3. Assalaamu alaykum sis, your blog is truly an inspiration and I'm not even talking about your polygyny related posts. Your way of looking at things...mashaAllah tabarakAllah. For a long time I have had low eman, I'm very ashamed I let it come to this point - this is due to me not nurturing it, eman is like a plant you must take care of it and fertilise, water, access to sunlight etc. It is my fault. But I digress, I just wanted to say jazakiAllah khair for all your posts. They are beneficial and give my heart rest plus they are interesting, making me want to read more and more!

  4. Wa alaykum as salaam wa Rahmat Allah wa Barakatuh Ahluuul.
I've been at my wit's end with parenting issues this past few days and along you come and tell me that I'm helping you in some way. Jazaaki Allahu khayran to you!

What you said, about needing to nurture your emaan...I wrote about that! It is a post called, "Nothing Flourishes Without Maintenance." Subhaan Allah, you were totally on the same wavelength as me on this!

Let's grow your emaan into a tropical rainforest, bi ithn Illah!
