  3. It is nice to hear something about you.
The rural country side!! That sounds sooo peaceful. When you come back to the states, do you plan on making that dream a reality by getting a house with a farm? Do you ever plan on returning to the States?

Yes, it is a very big blessing and gift from Allah to have access to Zamzam so easily. It hasn't made it any less special for me. When I only had a little bottle once every few years and when I go and drink it every week...it's still just as precious!

It's nice to know a couple of things we have in common :D

  6. Umm Salwaa, as salaamu alaykum.

Our plan is to return to the states and this post explains a bit about my/our dream.

In fact, if you read the posts under The Sunnah, you will get a VERY good idea of the path we are on, mashaa'Allah.

  7. That sounds so beautiful. We need to gather up a couple of families and buy land next to each other. By starting your our own community other Muslims will soon follow.

  9. assalamu alaikum,
Its nice to hear something about you. We do have a farmland in our hometown where I would like to settle down once we are done with all our worldly responsibilities. But with farmlands fast disappearing I sincerely make my duas that we are able to retain it as a farm and not give in to any pressure.
I always tell my son to study well and find a job in madinah or mecca so that we all can go and live there. Its truly a blessing to live there.
Yours was a preplanned move to madinah or it just happenned ? mashaallah.

  10. Umm Salwaa, Are you also Umm Outhman? I'm guessing that's you, but want to be sure. I will send you some of the chunks of land we have been looking at. Perhaps we can be neighbors! =D

  11. Youshaka,

May Allah make it easy for you to get some farmland when the time is right - ameen.

We were planning to come to the Middle East, but we never imagined Madinah. It was amazing really, as my husband went back to college and got his qualifications and then he was offered a job in Jeddah. He went to a TESOL Convention and had interviews there, one of which was for Madinah. When he called and said they wanted to hire him before he left, we were both speechless. In fact, He had 3 or 4 job offers in Saudi Arabia, but there was no competition once he had Madinah opportunity. It wasn't preplanned by us, it was just Allah's amazing and irresistible Qadr! Al hamdul'Illahi Rabb il aal ameen.

  12. Asalamu alaikum, Im sorry, I know this is irrelevant but please I would like you to take 5 minutes to make a post about whats happening to the people of Libya. They have been under attack by their own ruler Gaddafi who is sending people from Chad to butcher them and kill them. Please make a post on your blog and raise awareness as there has been no media coverage on whats happening in Libya. Here is a link to my post, if you want, copy and paste it but please remember to pray for them. Tell all your friends to make a post of their blog. JazakAllah khairan. May ALlah be with our brothers and sisters in Libya.

Jazaaki Allahu khayran for your reminder about the events in Libya. My dua' are with them and all who are being tested in these turbulent times. Qadr Allah, mashaa fa'al. May the people of Libya submit to Allah in total obedience and put all their trust in him - ameen. Allah promises us all that, "Verily, after every difficulty is relief!"
